What is the maximum user weight for the treadmill?

The maximum user weight is 150 kg.

How fast can I walk with the WalkMate?

The speed can be set between 1 km/h and 6 km/h.

Where should I set up the treadmill?

Set it up on a firm, level surface in a dry room. Make sure there is enough clear space around the treadmill: 2 meters behind the machine, 1 meter on each side, and 30 cm in front of it.

Do I need tools to assemble it?

No, the treadmill is already fully assembled. The included Allen key is only needed for any adjustments.

What should I keep in mind before using it?

Check that the treadmill is stable and that the running belt is properly tensioned and lubricated. Make sure you’re wearing athletic shoes. Running barefoot or in socks is not recommended. Always start at a low speed.

Are there any programs I can use?

Yes, the treadmill has four preset programs with different speeds. You can select these programs using the remote control.

Can I connect my smartphone or tablet?

Yes, you can connect your devices via Bluetooth, for example to use the Sportstech Live app.

How do I clean the treadmill?

Wipe away sweat with a damp cloth after every workout. Do not use harsh cleaning products, and make sure no moisture gets into the electronics.

How often should I lubricate the treadmill?

After the first 2–3 months or 25 hours of use. Then every 5–8 months or 50 hours of use. Lift the treadmill belt slightly and feel the surface underneath. If it feels dry, apply lubricant.

The treadmill won’t start - what can I do?

Check that the power cord is plugged in properly. Check that the safety key is inserted correctly.

The treadmill belt is slipping or not running centered - what should I do?

The treadmill belt can be tightened or centered using the screws on the end caps.

What does the Sportstech Live app offer?

How steep is the incline?

The manual incline is 5%.

How do I dispose of the treadmill or batteries?

  • Ensure beforehand that there are no medical conditions or injuries. Consult a doctor if necessary.
  • The intensity of use must never exceed the current fitness level of the user.
  • Stop training immediately in case of pain, tightness, irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, dizziness, or nausea. Then consult a doctor.
  • Persons with limited abilities may only use the equipment under suitable supervision.

Weight and Age Requirements

  • Only adults may use the equipment.
  • The maximum permitted user weight is 150 kg (331 lb).
  • Children under 14 years of age must never use the equipment or perform maintenance tasks.

General Operating Conditions

  • Do not use the equipment commercially; it is for home use only. Not for therapeutic purposes.
  • Keep children and pets at least 3 m (10 ft) away from the equipment.

Before Each Use, Ensure

  • Place the equipment only on a firm, level surface. Leave at least 2 m of clear space behind the equipment.
  • Use the equipment only with non-slip sports shoes. Do not walk barefoot.
  • Do not step onto the equipment while the treadmill belt is in motion. Start at the lowest speed.
  • Do not use under the influence of alcohol, medication, or drugs.

Storage

  • Store the equipment in a dry, clean place protected from frost, heat, and sunlight.
