What is the difference between an ergometer and a speed bike?

On an exercise bike, you sit more upright and comfortably and train steadily with finely adjustable resistance - ideal for endurance and relaxed cardio. A speed bike is more athletic and similar to a road bike, with a heavy flywheel for sprints and intervals. Choose based on seat comfort and training style.

Who is an exercise bike the better choice for?

For beginners, longer sessions, multitasking while you work out, and anyone who prefers a comfortable seated position. The ergometer also comes into its own if you like to control your workout intensity precisely.

How quiet is it to work out on an exercise bike at home?

The X150 uses a magnetic brake: it brakes without contact, making it quiet enough for everyday use. The floor surface and impact noise still matter—a floor protection mat helps, especially in an apartment.

Do I need a watt display and heart rate monitoring?

Heart rate and performance help you control intensity consistently. The X150 measures your heart rate via hand sensors on the handle; you can’t connect a heart rate monitor to it. The technical specifications on the product page show which values your model displays.

How much space do I need for an exercise bike?

You can find the dimensions in the technical specifications on the product page. The X150 folds up and then takes up only about 52 × 53.5 cm of floor space; with the transport wheels, you can move it out of the way after your workout. Allow some extra room to get on and off while exercising.
